Award-winning artist Steve Harpst has been creating artwork and competing as an athlete nearly all his life.
His work has been featured in television, print and film venues such as the International Boxing Digest, USA Boxing Magazine, The USA Boxing News, Ringside Report, World Boxing Hall of Fame program, ABC Television and 20th Century Fox.
Harpst designed among others the bronze sculpture entitled “The Prizefighter” that is awarded to every inductee into the World Boxing Hall of Fame since 2004.
Harpst founded the Burbank Boxing Club in 1996. He was inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame in 2008.
